Geometric Screen Savers

An OpenGL Screen saver that is an animated (and lensed) modification of a piece of Islamic art. The pattern is taken from the book "Tilings and Patterns" by Grunbaum and Shephard. They reference Bourgoin[1879, Plate 13]. The MetaTile library is used for the graphics.

Installation:
1. Once it's unzipped onto your hard drive run the installer program "ScreenSaverInstaller.exe" and click the Install button.

If everything was successful, it will disappear in a fashion that would seem to indicate utter failure.
Take heart, however, and...

2. Right click on your desktop, select "properties".
Then in the "Display Properties" box select the "Screen Savers" tab.
Midway down that tab sheet there will be a list of all installed screen savers.

3. Select the screen saver named "Hersey & Associates Screen Saver"
Then hit Okay to save your changes and close out the Display Properties box.


Viola, sit back and enjoy.
